Nevada Umbrella

I'm going ot post our moving pictures, sooner or later... but in the meantime I wanted to show you all a funny... funny... (well at least Brooklynn and I thought it was funny) thing.

The rain here is "pouring rain".  It soaks you to the core in a minute or less.  When I tried a couple of times to get to the car, and getting completely soaked, I finally hollered, "Brooklynn, do we OWN an umbrella".  She came down the stairs with a 100 year old umbrella that she's been packing around for a 100 years.. she only kept it because it was pink. 
When we opened it.. we discovered it was truly a "Nevada Umbrella"

Mack's Hair Cut

AFTER!  What a big boy!

So... last October (its really not THAT long of a story) I screwed up cutting Mack's hair and ended up just buzzing it.  Brooklynn and I thought it was cute, but we are used to big headed, small bodies babies looking good with a buzz hair cut thanks to the Mackelprang boys.  Steve wasn't as happy with the "look" and I lost my cut-Mack's-hair priveldges.  In the last 10 months, Mack has only had one other hair cut, which was nerve wracking and stressful at the JC Penney salon.. and 'voila my hair cutting privledges have been reinstated.... So... because it was so cute and so fun to do at each stage of the grow out, once I got the big OK from the boss, Brooklynn and I buzzed Mack's hair, again.  He went from looking like a little kid to such a big boy.  He says to me, "hey mamma where did my hair go?"

My fingers totally did that T9Word thing to me when I was filling out the blog address.. so my blog address name is COLLINGS  Shoot!
What a dork.. I swear... Stay home mom brain... Dang it!

Hello Family

Here I am... Blogging... as promised... (no not just 'gunna do it' but really doing it)
I'm sure it will only be this complicated for a few times.  I've been a stay home mom long enough that most of my brain has either quit functioning.. or malfunctions.  So... I will blog.
I'm going to figure out how to get the pictures off my phone and camera, so I can post them here.. then you can all pretend like someday you're going to pop in and see what I'm doing...
